Ag-GROW-culture: Sheep and Goats

In this second week of Ag-GROW-culture we looked at the famous passage in Matthew 25 where Jesus talks about separating the sheep from the goats. Sheep are mentioned over 500 times in the Bible and are most often used as a metaphor for God's people. However today most of us know very little about sheep or goats.



This video takes us out to Vest Farms, a sheep operation in rural Laclede county. I interviewed Donna Vest who has been raising sheep for the last 20 years. You'll have to listen close as the sheep tend to voice their opinions louder than you might imagine, but Donna teaches us some valuable lessons about sheep that bring these verses to life.
